Salzach River.... and the color of the water is tremendously cloudy because of the salt sediment and lime that is naturally occurring.
This is where Mozart lived as a boy:
We went to the top of the MönchsbergAufzug, which is an art museum at the top of the highest point in Salzburg.
....and the heat and humidity and all of the hiking and walking is a bit tiring. We are walking, hiking between 5 and 10 miles a day...so Alex took a rest in an optical illusion in the art museum.
We went to an Italian restaurant for lunch...I had bruschetta salad and Alex had pizza
We also saw where Mozart was born!!!
Mom... we also cut thru a very old cemetery and I thought you would appreciate it
Lastly we attended a Mozart dinner accompanied by opera singers in St Peter's, which is where Mozart himself conducted and performed
And....Alex. got invited on stage by the male Opera singer who coaxed him into conducting the quartet...you can see the video here: Alex conducting
They hoard water here...we were so thirsty. We are now back at hotel feeling like kings with endless tap water 🤣
